Finally, I know what rhodium looks like!

I often wake up in the morning, yawn, and think, “Boy, if only I had an interactive period table with gorgeous pictures of all the elements.” Today, my prayers were answered by Theodore Gray’s work of elemental art. Mouse over each element for a fun fact, and click for tons of info on history, uses, and properties. I recommend phosphorus for destruction and cadmium because of the excellent solid-cadmium fish.

Yeah. Except the picture for Rutherfordium is just a picture of Rutherford. Lame.

You’re right – and what’s with Tin is a tin toy? I like Rhodium the best of all.

  3. Um, well, maybe Rutherford was made of Rutherfordium JUST AS a tin toy is made of tin! HAH! PWND!

    Or maybe not.
