One week of food around the world

I found this photoessay completely fascinating – it’s smiling families from around the world with a week of groceries laid out. To nitpick a tiny bit, I wish they had controlled for relative income so the cultural differences would be apparent. (It would be more interesting to see what a middle-class Chad family eats compared to a middle-class German family, since obviously a family in a refugee camp is in bad shape.) But still -  I want to eat over with the Italian family. Mmmm.
