I really can’t say it any better than the YouTube summary: “A Peruvian Rescue and rehabilitation team trains sea lions to reentry into the wild using unique methods.”
This comes via Sam, who says in her email: “I like how they sneak in some snuggling of the sea lionlings while they’re at it. I bet that’s not technically necessary for the rehabilitation.” Since I usually rehabilitate my study organisms in drawn butter, I couldn’t really say. Maybe Jives over at NEAQ has insight into the scientific necessity of snorgling?
