The 2nd Annual International Rock Flipping Day is today! It’s not too late to go outside, flip a rock, and admire the denizens underneath. Expect (depending on where you are) spiders, salamanders, scorpions, snakes, centipedes, millipedes, worms…all kinds of wonderful critters! Don’t forget to turn the rock back over in the exact same position when you’re done.
Here’s the guidelines (those who live amidst the poisonous might want to wear gloves) and the Flickr pool.
