OK, put away your defibrillators, neither David Tenant, nor The Doctor have actually endorsed John McCain. (As far as I know, anyway) But according to Nielsen, Dr. Who is apparently the show of choice among Republicans, while Democrats prefer Tin Man.
I haven’t seen Tin Man, so I actually haven’t got a clue as to why I should enjoy that show, but I’m most put out that Republicans dominate the Dr. Who audience. First of all, that does not at all conform to my knowledge of Dr. Who watchers, but I suppose my immediate group of friends do not technically constitute a “randomly selected sample”. But second of all, why do conservatives like this show in particular? Anyone have any guesses?

Because it’s been going on with the same plot for over 25 years. Conservatives don’t like change. Tin Man is too new.
Wait, Tin Man is an ongoing show now? I saw Part 1 of the 2-part miniseries and it was AWFUL. I don’t want Dr. Who but it has to be better than Tin Man.
Watch. Watch Dr. Who. (I realize that some of you want him.)
I looked it up, it was a miniseries, a three- parter from last year. It won a bunch of awards, including an emmy, but entirely for makeup and costume and whatnot. So, if you say it’s terrible, I trust you, even if I am a Democrat.
Now, why aren’t you watching Dr. Who? I’m pretty sure you’d dig it.
