Has anybody ever done research about these creatures being contanimated for example with
heavy metal or other goodies.
JP – California spiny lobsters from clean water (or Maine lobsters for that matter) are not thought to contain worrisome amounts of contaminants. However, people should avoid eating the hepatopancreas (the green goo) because any contaminants that are around will accumulate there.
