At first i thought it said “Walrus pulls out horn”, which is odd because i thought they only had tusks. Glad to see this instead, she has more musical ability then me.

OT: A while ago, you said that the fossil beds at Anza-Borrego were something to see. Can you tell me exactly where in Anza-Borrego we can go to see the best stuff? Now that it’s spring break we want to go check it out.

The Fish Creek/Split Mountain area has mud hills from the ancient Colorado River delta with a soft-bottom community, mostly huge oyster beds. The Domelands (in the Coyote Mountains) have a rocky benthic community with big gastropods & echinoderms. And definitely check out the Palm Canyon area near the Visitor’s Center (you don’t necessarily have to go to Palm Canyon itself). The bighorn sheep hang out around there and I’ve seen them every time I’ve been there.

Also FYI: if the road sign says that you need 4-wheel drive, they are serious. A lot of the unpaved roads in the park are soft sand and it’s easy to get stuck.
